I will always remember her strength and courage to fight and persevere against all odds. One can't forget her (tell-it-as-it-is) attitude, straightforwardness but always honest and humble at the same time. You have touched many and will ALWAYS remain in the hearts of those who have known you Barbara.

Message to the Family: I had the pleasure of knowing Barbara Hartman as a mother in law. She was funny, feisty and never read a National Enquirer story that wasn’t accurate. She had a huge and giving heart despite her gruff exterior. She treated me like family and I’m forever grateful. She is loved and will be missed.

Message to the Family: My mother was a strong and determined woman, never one to give up, even when that would have been the easier way. She taught me how to be strong and how to fight; she showed me strength and she showed me will power. Never abandoning her children, taking away from herself to give to them. In the hardest of times, she stood tall. My mother was not perfect, her mistakes were her own, but she owned them. Against all odds, she pushed forward. May God keep her. I am proud of her.
