Condolence: We should all be so healthy as to live as long and as independently as Sylvia did .
I will always remember the story she told about her mothers anniversary party where her friends gave her a pot and then filled it with all wonderful items to make soup.
Also, years ago ( Beth was 18 ) Sylvia explained to me how to make chopped liver, and gave me her secret ingredient. When ever I make it ( which is rarely ), I see us sitting together in the living-room in Monsey eating that wonderful delicious chopped liver that Sylvia made.
