Obituary for Karanink Terence

Terence Karanink, 59, of Center Valley, entered eternal life on Thursday, September 14, 2017, while being cared for in his home by his family and Lehigh Valley Hospice. Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in New Jersey, he was a son of Hannah (Sullivan) Karanink of Center Valley and the late Carroll Karanink. He received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken NJ. He was an electrical engineer for the former Bell Labs / Ageer Systems now known as Broad Com. He was a devout Catholic and was an active member of Assumption BVM Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

Survivors: in addition to his mother, Hannah, are his brother, Charles Karanink (Kathy) of Jim Thorpe; sisters, Carol Rooney (William) of Harrington Park, NJ; Victoria Morales (Luis) of Center Valley; Kerry Sitarus (George) of Bogota, NJ; and 8 nieces and nephews.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, Sep. 18th from 6-8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday Sep. 19th from 10-10:30 A.M. all in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St., Bethlehem. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. in Assumption BVM Catholic Church with burial to follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
