Obituary for William F. Valitski

William F.  Valitski
William F. Valitski, 80, of Hellertown, entered eternal life on March 21, 2017. He was the beloved husband of the late Loretta (Syzdek) Valitski. Born in Fountain Springs, Schuylkill County, he was the son of the late William C. and Anna (Charney) Valitski. Following his graduation from Villanova in 1959, he worked as an engineer for Philco Company and later General Electric Space Center. Later he worked for many years for the former Burrough's Corporation, which then became Unisys, where he worked until retiring in 1997. A member of Assumption of the BVM R. C. Church, Bethlehem, he was a former collection counter and volunteer. He also enjoyed attending Mass with his grandchildren and family at St. Thomas More R. C. Church, Allentown.

Survivors: He is survived by his daughters, Lynne Finnegan (James) of Lower Macungie; Elizabeth Root (Derek) of New Market, MD; sister, Julia Connelly (Mark) of TX; grandchildren, William, Seamus, Anson and Jason.

Services: Calling hours Thursday evening March 23rd., from 6-8:00 p.m. in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St., Bethlehem and Friday morning from 10:15 to 10:45 in St. Thomas More R. C. Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Holy Savior Cemetery, Bethlehem. Offer condolences at www.jamesfuneralhome.org.
