Obituary for Jean Grifo Reese
Jean G. Reese, 84,of Forks Twp., passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Jack H. Reese with whom she shared 65 years of marriage. Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Biagia (Trumbadore) Grifo. Jean was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was the manager of Walden Books and an employee of Northampton County for many years. She was a strong advocate for the down trodden and took many who were in need into her home and into her heart. She was an active member of College Hill Presbyterian Church, Easton.
Survivors: in addition to her husband Jack, are her sons: John (Li-Shin), Paul (Perla) and predeceased by her son Michael (Bessie Cicero), sister, Nellie Erkinger; brothers, James Grifo; Anthony Grifo; her beloved grandchildren: Elijah (Weena) Reese, Caitlin (Ben) Prager, Jack (Samantha) Reese and Olivia Reese and her great granddaughter Madelyn Rae Reese. She was also preceded in death by a sister Emily Herbert; brothers, Richard and Jack Griffo.
Services: A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Oct. 21st at 6:00 p.m. in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME 527 Center St. Bethlehem, where relatives and friends may call from 4-6:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Entombment of ashes will be private. Online condolences may be left at www.jamesfuneralhome.org
