Obituary for Russell R. Gabel

Russell R.  Gabel
Russell R. Gabel, 87, of Coopersburg, passed away suddenly in his home on Monday, September 19, 2016. He and his companion, Gerald Schoch were together for over 53 years. Born in Hellertown, he was the son of the late Raymond and Clara (Weaver) Gabel. He served in the U. S. Army and later he worked for General Electric as an assembler for many years. He was a member of Zion Hill Evangelical Lutheran Church, Coopersburg and was a member along with his companion of the Jim Bean Club.

Survivors: In addition to his beloved companion, Gerald, are a sister Margaret Brown and several nieces and nephews.. He was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Bealer and a brother Leroy Gabel.

Services: A viewing will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016, from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center Street, Bethlehem. A graveside service will follow in Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.
