Katherine "Kate" Adele Johnson, 57, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of Andrew G. Johnson. Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Kathryn Klinger. Kate attended Bethlehem schools and went on to supervise the family business Sawyer and Johnson Flower Shop. Through her work, she developed a life long interest in flowers, flower arranging and gardens. For more than a decade, Kate worked as an accountant at Ingersoll Rand and Volvo in Clinton, NJ. Most recently she was employed at Dunne-Manning Inc., Allentown. Kate devoted much of her free time to family, especially her four grandchildren Sydney and Autumn Liberto, Aiden and Avery Flynn. Kate was a member of St. Anne's R. C. Church, Bethlehem and was active as well at Assumption BVM R. C. Church Bethlehem.

Survivors: In addition to her husband of 34 years, Andrew, she is survived by, daughters, Sarah Flynn (Michael) of Erdenheim, PA; Michele Liberto (Christopher) of Bethlehem; sister, Mariann Klinger of Seal Beach, CA; brothers, Robert Klinger (Georgine) of Sarasota, FL; Michael Klinger (Martha) Williamsburg, VA; James Klinger of San Joaquin, CA and Rev. Msgr. Nevin J. Klinger of Bethlehem; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Klinger, in 2013.

Services: Visitation, Sunday, March 20, 2016, from 4:00- 6:00 p.m. in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center Street, Bethlehem and on Monday morning from 9:45-10:30 in St. Anne's R. C. Church, 450 Washington Ave, Bethlehem A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m., to be celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Nevin J. Klinger, Pastor of Assumption BVM Church Bethlehem. Burial, Holy Ghost Cemetery. Condolences may be left for family at www.jamesfuneralhome.org
