Obituary for Christopher T. Domyan

Christopher T.  Domyan
Christopher T. Domyan, 56, of E. Allentown, passed away, Jan. 30, 2016. Born in Allentown and raised in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Leonard and Mary (Sedlacek) Domyan. He graduated from Bethlehem Catholic H.S. in 1977 and entered the Navy, serving on the USS Nimitz during the Iranian Hostage Crisis. He had been employed for 25 years by B.Braun Medical in Bethlehem last working as an inventory administrator. Previously, he worked Tanczos Beverages in various capacities, Kearney Beverages as a store manager, in the Field House of Saucon Valley Country Club as a supervisor and purchasing agent and also Hotel Bethlehem. He attended Northampton Community College, taking credit and non credit courses and received a Certificate from Cornell University in restaurant purchasing. Chris, was an active parishioner of Ss. Simon & Jude R.C. Church, where he was a lector and volunteered over the years. He was also a member of Petersville and Guthsville Rod and Gun Clubs and Monocacy Field and Stream.

Survivors: He is survived by his daughter, Roberta Domyan of Bethlehem, brothers, Leonard Domyan (Brenda) of Utah; Richard Domyan (Mary) of Fleetwood; Paul Domyan (Sandy) of KY; Mark Domyan (Patricia) of Wescosville; sisters, MaryAnne Sedler (Andrew) of Bethlehem; Rosemary Mayr (Alan) of Florida, 11 nieces and nephews; 5 great nieces and nephews and 1 g. great nephew.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016 at 10:00 AM in Ss. Simon and Jude R. C. Church, 730 W. Broad St. Bethlehem. The family will receive friends in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St. Bethlehem, on Friday evening from 7-9:00 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 9:00 until time of Mass in Church.
